PCG has been informed by our vendor, Tax 1099, that they
sent out duplicate 1099s to some EI Billing Providers. Those EI Billing Providers that may have received a duplicate 1099 will receive a letter in the
mail from the vendor that will tell the provider exactly how to handle this
issue. These letters are currently in the mail and should be received by
providers in the next few days. As explained in the letter, only one set
of accurate income was sent to the IRS per provider/agency and providers will
have to discard one of the forms. Below is a copy of the letter.
