The list of valid CPT codes in
EIBilling.com were provided by BEI from NYEIS. The list of these codes
is available under the Reports menu once you are logged in to EIBilling.con.
We are not
authorized to provide advice or guidance on which CPT codes should be
used for which services. The determination of which CPT code is
appropriate for any given service should be based on the providers
professional training. If you need guidance on determining a CPT code,
we recommend that you check with any professional organizations that you
may be a member of, or if possible, some of your fellow professionals.
The
guidance that we can provide is related to how to enter CPT codes into
our system. If a CPT code is based on a specific amount of time, you
should enter that CPT code once for each unit of time that service was
provided. If that CPT code is just based on the service provided, you
only need to enter it once.
Example 1
92507 - "Tx speech, lang, voice, comm, and/or auditory disorder; indiv"
If the appropriate CPT code for the delivered service is 92507, you only need to enter it once.
Example 2
97110 - "Therapeutic proc, 1+ areas, each 15 min, strength/endur"
If
this is the appropriate CPT code for a 45 minute session of a delivered
service, then you would enter 97110, 3 times, once in CPT Code 1, once
in CPT Code 2 and once in CPT Code 3
